At the Nalanda Foundation, we believe that true institutional and personal knowledge can only exist within an environment of absolute privacy. This document outlines our architectural commitment to Zero-Knowledge operations.
Nalanda operates on a fundamentally different architecture than legacy AI platforms. We do not centralize user data to train probabilistic models. Instead, we distribute deterministic intelligence directly to the edge. Your queries, search history, and generated insights never leave your local node.
We collect the absolute minimum data required to establish and authenticate your node. This includes:
We do not collect telemetry on your cognitive queries, library usage, or execution history. The central server acts exclusively as an authentication gateway and registry, never as an active listener.
Through our integration with the Vajra Engine, all generative intelligence is manifested natively on your hardware. By processing "Sutra seeds" directly on your device via Zero-Copy FFI, we structurally eliminate the need to transmit your private data to a cloud API endpoint.
Trust must be verified. We maintain an open stance on independent security audits of our core engine and deterministic generators. Network participants and Founding Institutes are encouraged to review our published transparency reports to ensure mathematical adherence to our Zero-Knowledge guarantees.
